The maximum height for food is 5cm.The useable tray area is approx. 23cm x 14.5cm with a clear area around the edges approx. 1cm wide.

Yes, the tray can be used but not the lid which must be removed. The tray can be used for reheating food but not for cooking, high temperature could damage it.
